Kev and Nixxi returned after a week off and almost immediately became obsessed with sausage. Kyle was dragged into a debate about whether he had eaten somebody else's sausage, Nixxi declared her appreciation for a good battered one and listener Mark reported that NE1fm's Dan Pye also 'loved the sausage'. The audience was encouraged to join in with #sausageLover as Cumberland, saveloy and every available piece of innuendo were thoroughly exhausted. Simon Gunton's 'juicy mouthful of sausage' clip naturally made matters worse, while Nixxi battled what Kev christened a 'Nicola cold' and tried to keep him away from both the sausage and the kumquats.

Elsewhere, Kev and Nixxi launched a Facebook challenge to give away a cardboard David Cameron, joked about personally delivering it as far as Shawn Levy in Tallahassee, caught up with listeners on Interact and the webcam, and found Rob Davies in the studio during the second hour. Nixxi talked about judging TeenStar UK before admitting that leaving iPhone for Samsung might have been a terrible idea, which sent the pair into a wonderfully stupid discussion about future iPhones saving themselves when dropped, including tiny airbags and a phone exploding protectively inside somebody's trousers.
