Kev and Nixxi bring the regular show to an end on 20 April 2013 after nearly four years. Alex Humberstone makes a surprise visit to the studio for the farewell, while the pair revisit songs and ideas strongly associated with the programme, including Soulja Boy’s Kiss Me Thru the Phone, Mr. Smith’s This Is My Jam and Above & Beyond’s Air for Life. The final playlist also includes Example - Watch the Sun Come Up before Chase & Status featuring Plan B - End Credits provides an appropriately titled final record. Listeners and friends of the show contribute to the final-night atmosphere as Kev and Nixxi say goodbye to the Saturday-night programme.
The final-ever SmeggHeads finished level after the five regular questions and went to a golf-course tie-break. Nixxi answered 12, Kev answered 16 and the correct answer was 18, so Kev won by being closest. Simon also declared Kev the overall SmeggHeads winner across the programme's run.
