Nixxi kicked off the very first Kev & Nixxi with a Legend Tune victory as Underworld's Born Slippy won the opening vote. Kev and Nixxi launched straight into Kiss Me Through the Phone, bringing Kev's mam and the mysterious Phantom Kisser onto the phone, while Alex Humberstone supplied Joke of the Week and the pair got to grips with their brand-new Saturday-night show. The first programme also mixed in plenty of new music, listener messages and the sort of live chaos that would quickly become part of Saturday nights on NE1fm.
