The show introduces the live shoutbox that becomes Interact, replacing the old forum after spam problems. Nixxi’s single coarse chin hair becomes the origin of the long-running beard and Furby jokes, while a new studio and ongoing phone-line problems provide plenty of additional material. This is the key Interact origin episode. The old forum has become overrun with spam, so Alex rapidly builds a replacement shoutbox and Kev tests it live on air; Ryan and Amy are among the first people to use it.

Nixxi's single coarse chin hair becomes 'the beard', spawning the bearded-lady, Furby and 'Kev & Furby Show' jokes that recur for years. Kev reveals that he only wears Umbro socks, Nixxi admits to mismatched socks and Parmesan-like feet, and the new studio is contrasted with the freezing, tinny temporary setup used the week before. Safri Duo's Played-A-Live is replayed, an important callback to Nixxi's original Show 3 Legend Tune winner.
